Q How many people can you cater
for?
A We
have catered for 500. If your numbers are
greater,
please contact us for further information.
Q How does the catering service
operate?
A We come to you. Everything is provided - Yum Cha food, dipping sauces, cocktail napkins, serving platters and cooking equipment. If a gas cooktop is unavailable, we will bring a portable gas burner. All we require is a clean benchtop and easy access to power and water.
Q How do I know how much food to
order?
A Each menu allows one
piece of each food item per person. Eg The
Yum! Menu has 13 pieces
per person. This means that each person
will be offered 13 different choices.
Q How long do you stay?
A We arrive approximately
one hour prior to service. The food service
will take anywhere
from 1 1/2 to 3 hours depending on the number
of guests.
Q Apart from the price per head,
what else does the menu price include?
A A Yum Cha chef, food waiter and GST are included in the per person price.
Q Do we need to employ a cleaner
after the function?
A We will clean and tidy
all areas used by YUM!
Q What are your payment terms?
A We require:
• 50% deposit - payable at time
of booking to secure event date
• Balance payable 7 days prior to function
• Deposit fully refundable with notice given 3 weeks or greater from the event date
• Cancellation less than 3 weeks from the event date - a 10% cancellation fee applies.
• Cancellation less than 7 days from the event date - all monies forfeited
Q How do I pay?
Direct deposit, cash, cheque or American Express (3% surcharge applicable).
